Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

IATF 16949:2016 (IATF 16949) defines quality management system requirements for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and suppliers to the automotive industry. It is applicable to sites of the organization where customer-specified production parts, service parts, and/or accessory parts are manufactured & should be applied throughout the automotive supply chain.

The first & also current edition of IATF 16949 was released on October 1, 2016. It will gradually supersede ISO/TS 16949:2009 (TS 16949) effective from January 1, 2017 and will fully replace TS 16949 by September 14, 2018. Requirements for certification to this standard are defined in the latest Rules for achieving and maintaining IATF recognition (Rules 5th Edition).

The seminar will look at structure, terms & definitions, key changes in IATF 16949:2016 & transition process from ISO/TS 16949:2009. Knowledge on ISO 9001:2015 & ISO/TS 16949:2009 would be helpful to fully benefit from this session.
