SGS launches Hospitality Experience Program in Malaysia
SGS Malaysia has launched Hospitality Experience (HX) Program at Kota Permai Golf and Country Club, on July 18, 2018.
A total of 43 managers and directors of a wide range of high profile hotels gathered at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to learn and discuss on hospitality and tourism performance, trends and challenges, food safety and customer experience in the hospitality industry.
Our invited guest speaker, Mr. Iskandar Mirza Mohd Yusof from Ministry of Tourism Malaysia shared an update on Malaysia’s tourism trend and how the generation of millennial are changing the tourism landscape. In addition, Ms. Lisa Lim, an experienced food lead auditor, addressed issues pertaining to food safety in Malaysia, such as the food regulatory requirements and the benefits of food safety program.
At the event, Mr. John Baluyot, Global Product Manager of Hospitality and Tourism, has introduced and presented Hospitality Experience (HX) Program. HX is a comprehensive property audit solution that aims to maximize guest experience within the hotel industry, while reducing operational risks of daily hotel operations.
HX is comprised of four modules, covering:
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Quality of Service Experience
HX enables players in the hotel industry to benchmark themselves against global standards and competitors. It can also help to ensure regulatory conformity, identify potential cost savings, provide peace of mind to managers and guests, and increase brand reputation.
